more.  Some great search words kids can use to find family-friendly Halloween desktop images and wallpaper include “cute, fun, animated, cat, animals, Winnie the pooh, cartoon and Halloween backgrounds for kids.” By setting your computer search filter to safe, you won’t have to worry your child will find inappropriate images.

When choosing Halloween backgrounds, you can select from different types of scenes. Some users prefer desktop and wallpaper images that show autumn scenes. These may include foliage, bobbing for apples, moonlit, night skies, full moon, autumn leaves that are changing colors, pumpkins, squash, jack-o-lanterns and woods. These backgrounds aren’t necessarily scary or spooky and are a good choice for those who want to display Halloween images without using a lot of scary pictures and graphics. Free Halloween pictures and images can help you ensure your holiday has the right visual touch. Halloween images, pictures and backgrounds are a good choice for those working in an office setting. By selecting backgrounds that depict nature scenes along with appropriate, seasonal or holiday message, you’ll have an image that is both work place and holiday appropriate.

If you want your backgrounds to be creepy or spooky, there are other options you can choose. Halloween pictures often include frightening images such as witches, wolves, werewolves, zombies, insane psychopaths, asylums, serial killers, evil ghosts or poltergeists, skeletons, rotting corpses, mummies, rats, cats and bats, grjm reapers, graveyards and cemeteries, ghouls and goblins, mummies, demons and devils. While these are often perfect Halloween backgrounds and images, they may be too scary for some younger viewers. Always use your best judgment when choosing Halloween desktop and wallpaper images and pictures. Consider the age of those who may view them. Free wallpapers make it easy to get your computer ready for all of the fun and excitement that Halloween is known for. Creepy or spooky Halloween backgrounds can help create an atmosphere perfect for the holiday season. Some people prefer their Halloween backgrounds to feature macabre and eerie scenes. Scenes from horror movies, or pictures featuring famous characters such as Freddy Krueger, Michael from the Halloween series, Jason from Friday the 13th series and Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre are all popular choices for Halloween.

Halloween backgrounds often include the color combinations of black, orange and purple. These colors can be used to create a sense of fear or being afraid, as well as work together to bring an atmosphere of the nature of “All Hollow’s Eve.” Backgrounds in black, purple and orange may be as simple as the words “Happy Halloween” or “Trick or Treat” or depict witches scenes, including broomsticks, black cats, potions and poisons. Many cemetery or graveyard Halloween backgrounds will use a lot of black to create a sense of foreboding. Orange and purple may be used to add a ghostly element to the picture. Likewise, cute and fun Halloween backgrounds, such as those for preschoolers or young, elementary children may use more orange and purple with a hint of black (such as for lettering). The way colors are used in the picture will help determine the overall effect the Halloween background will have.
